Not so Good Valentine's Day

Not so good because I remembered at exactly 4:30 in the morning I can't go to Maifo's live in Munich because I have MEXT that day. MEXT is Japanese government scholarship and basically my last chance to study in Japan in fall.

I wouldn't be so disappointed in not going, but I have a press ticket and an approved interview with them. For those who don't know, Zero is like my religion and having an opportunity to do an interview with him and the rest of the group is beyond words for me...

But uni and future comes first I guess... Now my only hope is for embassy to move the exam few hours earlier*fingers crossed*

P.S.:

Quick update

Hello!!!
It's been a while, how's everyone? Is there even people who are still using LJ, or is it died?

Anyway quick update... After a month and a half I finally bought new laptop, it's beyond me how did I survive without it for so long. Anyway my old one served me well for 4 years, I hope this one will to... need to find a name for it xD

I have a theme for my bachelor thesis and it's Social networks in Japan and I will focus on network usage during the great earthquake in March 2011. My goal for this 'study break' I have is to finish at least half of my thesis. Wish me luck.

Beside that nothing much going one, that one love interest I had is gone now so back to normal...

P.s.: the GazettE have finally turned their words to actions it seems... they are participating in Russian music festival Kaban in August (geographically speaking it's still Asia, but they are getting closer to Europe and with signing with German management I think we will see an EU Tour soon

JLPT Thing y

While I was browsing JLPT official site for some infos, I tried sample questions for N3 I'm planing on taking in December and N2 (a level higher) and came to realize that if our department would teach us Japanese language like JLPT test I'd be able to pass N2 in December. But because we don't study like that, it'd be way too much studying to do to pass N2. Even though know know more than 1000 kanji (approx. 1000 kanji is required for N2) and a bit less than 6000 words, but with some studying would make up to it.

And second thing I noticed is that some kanji and words we were studying are not so useful in neither daily Japanese or JLPT. The book we were using this year is way to specialized on topics in chapters . I hope the book we will be using this year is better.

I know our department wasn't thinking about JLPT   when they first started it since the rule about having to have JLPT in order to apply for exchange program starts with this school year. And my generation is the first generation of Bologna system in our department so everything is new for us and our teachers. I hope they'll change and improve some things for younger students. It's not the good being the first generation of the new system.

Dear my Friend

Today something amazing happened, destiny decided to cross our paths again and I met one of my dearest friends. I haven't seen him or have any real contacts (apart from occasional msn conversations) in about a year. But today while I was happily skipping classes I ran into him. We were both pleasantly surprised and couldn't believe we have actually met. We hugged and exchange some small talk (he and his friends were on their way to bus station from where they'll be going to Spain), but it mean so much to see him before he leaves for Spain.

We met trough a mutual friend and became good friends instantly. I've know him for about 3 or 4 years and what I really love about our friendship is that even though we don't talk on a daily basic when we do we can talk like we would every day. Because we live on different sides of  Slovenia we could only met once or twice a year. I can talk about everything with him and he was there when I had some problems with my life and I helped him with his. He really is one of my dearest friends and I'm writing this because I still can't believe it <3<3<3. I'm sooooo happy I ran into him before he goes to Spain and I leave for Japan.

And a very appropriate song to go along with this emotional post ^^

Hostel, Couch surrfing or ...

Since I don't have unlimited budget for my trip to Japan in December I'm trying to save money where I can. So far I have a plane ticket (580€) and I know I'll need about  a 100€ for food and transport per week (probably less but better be sure). Now where to stay, last week I'll be couch surfing with my friend so last week is covered but now I don't know either to go to hostel for two weeks (aprox. 200-300€) or couch surf alone for this two weeks meaning minimal costs. *sighs* .

In a way I'd rather go to hostel and meet load of new people from all over the world, but on the other hand you meet loads of people while couch surfing as well... Tho if I choose couch surfing that means I'll need to find at least two people with couch, since I don't think it's possible to stay on a couch surfing so long.

Any suggestion about how to stay in Tokyo as cheep as possible?

Found out today that Luna Sea will held two concert in Tokyo Dome (23th and 24th of December) and I'd love to see them (another 80€). I'll probably make a trip to Osaka and Kyoto...

And then here are European tours of Mucc, Girugamesh and Miyavi (tho I can say no to the first two but not to Miyavi)...

I guess I'll spend winter exam period (I only have one exam at that time) WORKING!. よし頑張ります。

First week of college

First week of college is behind me. I have pretty good time table, only Fridays are awful (I have classes from 13.00 to 16.15) ON FRIDAY! and have Wednesdays off (I mean HELLO!!!). But everything else is fine. For general electives I've chosen sports (twice a week; Latino aerobic on Tuesdays and volleyball on Wednesday).

Even though it's only been a week of classes tomorrow is all ready a weekly grammar and this year also kanji test (books we have for grammar this year are completely Japanese and thus we have to do a lot of work ourselves as in looking up new kanji, but without denshijisho it takes forever; I'll buy myself one in Japan in December).

That's about college stuff, other than that I'VE FINALLY BOUGH MYSELF A PLANE TICKETS *yay* (I paid 562€ for it and I'll be flying from Trieste, Italy on 6th of December and stayed in Japan till 28th of December). In a search of a cheep "home" in Japan now. Tho my parents still aren't happy about me going to Japan, but they won't say it to my face but talk about it when they think I can't hear it *sighs*.

I think this is all that's been going on in my life since the last post  (I still get all happy every time I remember about D'esairs Ray concert and Zero <3).Still haven't watched ScReW TV from the 28th or GazettE's NLSB in Budokan *shocked*. I'll watch NLSB tomorrow after classes, it has finally downloaded and ScReW TV as well (do expect massive fangirling post xD)

Off to bed now. Nighty night.

I got my Molly back

I GOT MY MOLLY [that's my laptop, yes I gave it a name xD] BACK, FINALLY ^^

Had my last exam today, I all ready passed it two weeks ago only wanted to get a higher grade and I got it (I guess a mix of D'espairs Ray, GazettE and Hanoi Rocks is a WIN combo before and exam xD). Now I'm officially in a second year (3rd semester) of collage. Got my books for next year as well (kanji, kanji and more kanji xD).

Today unni brought me a postcard form Seoul, Korea (she didn't send it because she couldn't find stamps lol) and a T.O.P (BigBang) calendar for 2011 and 2012 <3 So pretty pictures <3

Went to the tea house with my classmates afterwards and drank green tea with Japanese cherry <3

And later on went to the Skelet with my twin(she's not my real twin, we just call each other that because we are very alike). We were drinking a cocktail called Bay City Bomber.

Now, I'm tired and I'm off to bed.

P.S.: What do you think with Aoi and red hair?

Fuckin' Perfect

Last sunday my dear laptop broke down, it worked normally at home, two hours later when I wanted to use it in my students flat it didn't even budge, I tried everything I could think of to make it work or at least get some "life" form it, but nothing. Dad took it to the two services and they all say it's the motherboard (which I hope is not), but I don't believe it's mother board. My laptop was only a year old and worked perfectly normal. In Monday when I get it back from the second service I'll take it to my neighbor and he'll have a look at it and save my data, if necessary(lately he has been the only one I trusted with fixing my computer, since service people usually only use tests to check it and sometimes that isn't enough). I really hope it's not motherboard, because if it is that means bye bye Japan.

Fuckin' perfect really!

Random post 10th of August 2010

I has a job, kind of  xD. I'm one of the many students doing surveys for LSE in Slovenia about Internet and it's safety among children/youths. I get 14€ per survey and if I do it well I'll get almost the whole amount of money for Japan I need. I'm on the priority list for another job I applied if they get any  openings in September. I'm really reviled right now, because I really don't know what I'd do if I wouldn't have gotten a job.

Now only need to find a plane tickets with a reasonable price. At the moment I wish I'd be living in LA (plane tickets to Tokyo from LA only cost 240€ which is nothing *pouts*)

Now off to do some more surveys xD

P.S.: Aoi STOP posting pictures of other ppl on your blog I want your picture *glares*  and OMG Kazuki was looking at the camera in their last in store even *happy*

Random post 19th July 2010

Spent Friday and Saturday at a local student festival with my friend and it was AWESOME!!!. The bands were amazing this year, perfect mixture of bands that played older rock, punk-rock to younger bands and we really had so much fun (minus the heat and sleeping in a tent xD). We had the most interesting neighbors in camp ( a group of horny teenage guys, but again it's a student festival so ...  x), but moaning and arguing about who will sleep where aside they were amazing and really fun to hang out (one of them was so fascinated in latex; he opened the condom we were given at the entrance along with the ticket and put it on his hand and admired how flexible latex was xD ). All and all I had really great time, didn't sleep much with music till' 5 in the morning and then random ppl were singing in camp and drunk ppl walking around tents in a search of theirs xD. Thinking about going next year as well.

Today went to the hairdressers to put my Justin Bieber  a.k.a Shetland pony doo xD and got two new ear piercings (well one new and had to redo one). Ordered Shiver (regular edition) and again the shipping cost cosed more than CD itself O.o Still giggling over Aoi's blog post and Tanaka-san (it's a teddy bear or smth similar to it with a pink underwear on his head xD). I also have new Aoi user pic *points* See? Ain't it pretty <3 He has the most gorgeous lips ever, seriously <3

Quote of the day: I'm kneeling with my head hung low (>_<) Please imagine me in that pose^^ (-Aoi twitter, translated by sixth_gun on twitter)
Aoi, don't write stuff like that it's dangerous xD

Moving back home

I can't believe my first year of collage is at it's end (well classes are). It went by so fast, it seems like yesterday when I only started going to collage and had the first Japanese class. Time really flays by when you are having fun. It was stressful and busy with weakly test and all but I had fun. Collage made me love Japan, Japanese language and their couture even more. Next week finals begins and I hope I can pass all of them in June *fingers crossed*.

Packed everything already, just have to clean my room before my parents come to take me and all my stuff back home. It feels nice to finally come back home for a longer period than just a weekend xD. Though I'll be spending few days here in my collage home in June, due to exams but I'll be living home again. I guess it's true what they say; No place like home.

I'll miss my awesome class mates and our drinkin' nights, but well we all have Facebook xD.

Random post 25th May 2010

Yesterday got back results for the last two mid exams and I passed both, kanji and grammar (うれしい ). But at first I thought I didn't pass grammar because our beloved teacher counted the points wrong (they have "missed" around 10 points on every examination paper).  But everything ended up well and I passed and that's all that matters now. Next week finals begins and I'd be laying if I'd say I'm not afraid of them, especially the verbal part of Japanese exam*sighs*. Trough the whole year we didn't have any special conversation class like they have it in Chinese department and now I'm scared of talking with my teachers in Japanese(did I mentioned one of them was first foreign ever to get a degree in Japanese university?). Lets just hope he decided/decides to stay in Yokohama with his wife for a bit longer *fingers crossed*.

Started reading book for a Methodology exam and I'm dying while reading it because it sooooo boring and 80% of it doesn't have anything to do with Japanese, only Chinese. But well it's interesting reading about why Chinese language doesn't have tenses and stuff like that. I just hope articles are more interesting than this book ...

Today 守時先生 took us to the coffee shop instead of having a class because it was the last one in this school year and only 7 students showed up for class. And her friend joined us with her two Japanese children and they were so cute. The boy had such nice eyes and the girl was just too cute with her two piggy tails. One of my classmates said he wants a Japanese wife if his children would look like this two xD.

Now onto the fangirlng ^^.

I love twitter and reading twitts xD. Kiyoharu and Mao are so interesting twitting each other all the time and I think Kiyoharu is addicted to twitting because sometimes he has so many twitts in like few minutes ^^.
Yesterday I was so happy when Yooh(ex.Lupo Label) twitted me back. It's nice to "talk" well exchange some words with someone who I love listening too.
Lol-ed over Kazuki's blog picture from yesterday when he took a picture of himself in a helmet with a guitar xD, drooled over Byou's picture today (I really hope that he and Rui did that photo shoot for Man's Knuckle).

And some twitter quotes that made, well still makes me LOL:

When your own mom can out-party you, you know you are a baby. Or just really tired. Ian Somerhalder

We need ZERO to record his bass part, but HE WON'T WAKE UP!! D'espairsRay
