Finally got around to write a live report about the second Jrock live in Slovenia. A year and half(-ish) after Orochi, A (エース) Anonymous Confederate Ensemble stopped in Ljubljana while touring Europe.
The day didn't start all that good (specially for the main organiser of the live in Slovenia) since the news about Rookie injuring his hand a night before came (poor organization on the side of the organization who is in charge of the tour and the "manager" who couldn't be bothered to buy him some painkillers), the rest of the band said they won't preform without Rookie and the destiny of the remaining part Europe tour was unknown. But luckily our main organiser pulled some strings and Rookie got to the hospital where he was told his injuries were minor and he should be fine with a bit of rest (and fed him some strong painkillers).
They arrived to the venue in Ljubljana, Slovenia with delay, but ready to play. My friend and I were allowed into the venue, when they started with sound check (because we're VIP+/part of the staff xD). Because it was an outside venue, even fans who were outside could hear them.
The three of them had already put make up on in a hotel, but were dressed more or less casually; Toshi was the only one almost dressed in his stage clothes, Nimo had his stage shirt one, but his pants and shoes were casually and he had a hat, while Rookie was dressed in sweat pants that were cut bellow his knees, white T-shirt a kind of beanie and black crocs (I really, like VK artist in their normal clothes~).
They were really polite towards sound technicians and when they were done (Rookie stayed longer to practice his violin and probably to warm up his hand) they greeted us and smiled so nicely and went inside to get ready.
VIP entered and they had the singing season and pictures taken with ACE, and when VIP were done it was our (staff) turn. When that was done they once again went inside to give interviews for national TV and two major broadcasting houses, which was also the reason the beginning of the live was delayed.
Around 22.00 (ish) they came out again and the live began~

They opened the live with Night of Knights and the crowd was really into it from the beginning, went wild when Masquerade began. Before Black Butterfly Nimo greeted us in Japanese, before introducing them in English and he continued speaking in easy Japanese, because some fans were screaming "Toshi you're the best" and "Toshi I like you" in Japanese. At first it was cute, but it got annoying when the live proceeded, I think it wasn't during this MC but sometime latter when both, Toshi and Nimo hushed them so Nimo could talk.
After the Black Butterfly and crowd in high spirits Toshi had a bass solo and we cheered along. After the solo, Fool's Gold gave us a chance to catch a breath before Kanaria. After Kanaria, it was Shunji's drum solo (and if I remember correctly, the rest of the band went off stage).
They came back right after the solo was over and Viva la Casta started. Nimo was really playful and was dancing and wiggling his hips in the rhythm. The main live ended with Nude.
Calls for encore started right after they left the stage and they came back on stage really quickly and Nimo asked us if we know how to say encore in Japanese and when we said no, and he told us the Japanese word for encore (not "ankore" but the original Japanese word, which I forgot, sorry xD). And asked if we know which song they will play and we were all Sakura, and Nimo smiled and said no, but in the end it was Sakura.
They ended, this short performance with Shangri-la and during this song I just couldn't look away from Rookie and his violin. When the last notes were playing he put his violin behind his head and played it (I've seen this guitars, but never violin), it was even more amazing because I knew his hand was hurt.
Live ended, even though we were screaming for another encore.
Live as whole was short, but really good. Nimo sounded great and so did Rookie when he sang his high parts. There were moments, when we couldn't hear the violin (tho it might be because I was on Toshi's side) and Nimo's voice when he was "wispering" lyric into the mic, but other than that the sound was really good and I enjoyed it. There wasn't much furi, but we did a lot of cheering with our hand/fists in the air. And before the last song Nimo asked who they were and the crowed screamed ACE and we repeated that a couple of times (louder each time, obviously xD)
As I said I was on Toshi's side and didn't have all that good view of Rookie, but Toshi and Rookie did change places, several times during live so I got my fare share of Rookie-sama violin playing. During the live even the guitarist came to the end of the stage and Shunji looked really into the live behind his drums. All there of them came to the end of the stage during live so we could touch his hands, and in Rookies case first his bow and later his hand.
There weren't much fan service, beside Nimo leaning on Toshi once or twice and some playful glances they threw at each other.
After they calmed down a bit they came back out and lined up in front of the stage and we could shook their hands (Nimo complimented my Japanese *blushies* ) and take quick pictures with individual members, before they made their finally goodbye.
Later when guitarist and drummer were pacing their stuff me and my friend took pictures with them (because in all honesty they were just to adorable not to xD) and while Shunji was all for posting the picture on the internet, guitarist Kentaro (thanks
anid_harker for the name) was like super shy and said we must not post it. They were both really surprised when I asked if we can take pictures, so adorable~.
Special thanks to Touhou (Denis&Seba) for everything and Helena for being my partner in "crime" and what not (^_-)
I apologise for any spelling or grammatical mistakes.
